    A cooler cabin

Ceramic film keeps heat out, so the car is easier to get into and the air conditioning works less.

  2. 02

    Less glare, less sun

It cuts glare on the road and blocks ultraviolet light that fades the interior.

Window Strip

The windshield strip, located at the top of your vehicle’s windshield, is a prime area for applying ceramic tint to improve your driving experience. Tinting this section helps block bright sunlight and reduce harsh glare, especially during early mornings and evenings. By minimizing glare, it enhances visibility, making your drive safer and more comfortable. Additionally, the ceramic tint effectively shields against harmful UV rays, protecting your skin and preserving your vehicle’s interior from wear and tear. Expertly hand-applied for a flawless finish, tinting your windshield strip is a practical and stylish upgrade for any driver.

How we do it

What the film does all day.

Ceramic film blocks infrared heat, the main reason a parked car gets hot. The cabin stays cooler and the air conditioning works less.

It also blocks the ultraviolet light that fades upholstery and cracks dashboards, and it adds privacy when the car is parked.

Offered at Millstone and Ocean Township.

Why it is worth it

What window tinting gets you

  1. 01

    Glare Reduction for Safer Driving

You cannot easily escape excessive sunlight during the day and glare from headlights at night. These can cause eye strain and reduce visibility, making driving dangerous. Window tinting from Buff & Beyond minimizes glare, improving overall visibility and reducing the need to squint or wear sunglasses while driving. This benefit is particularly helpful as it lessens the impact of bright lights or the sun - all things you cannot avoid while driving. By improving road visibility, window tinting enhances reaction time and reduces fatigue, making long drives safer.

  2. 02

    Improved Comfort and Heat Reduction

Tinted windows significantly reduce the amount of solar heat that enters your vehicle, keeping the interior much cooler. This is perfect for those hot New Jersey summers. Blocking infrared heat buildup means that window tinting notably minimizes the need for excessive air conditioning use. A cooler interior also means more comfortable drives, reducing the discomfort of burning hot seats and steering wheels when you first get in. It also helps balance interior temperatures, making the ride more enjoyable for passengers in both the front and back seats.

  3. 03

UV Protection for You and Your Interior

We want to keep you, your passengers, and your interior safe! Auto window tinting blocks harmful UV rays from the sun, which helps protect your skin from premature aging and reduces the risk of skin cancer. Prolonged sun exposure can also fade and crack your vehicle’s interior, including the dashboard, seats, and trim pieces. Reduce UV exposure with window tinting and preserve the condition of your vehicle’s interior overall. This helps maintain its value and aesthetic appeal. Over time, you will find that window tinting helps keep your vehicle looking newer.

Myths

Three things people get wrong.

Open each one to read what is true.

Myth 01The fact You cannot drive for several days after having the windows tinted

It is a myth that your vehicle cannot be used for an extended period of time after window tint application. In reality, the high-quality tinting at Buff & Beyond allows you to drive your vehicle shortly after the window tinting process is complete. While it is true you should keep your windows rolled up for at least three days to ensure the window tint adheres properly, you will not be inconvenienced for days on end. At Buff & Beyond, we emphasize proper curing times and inform you of any necessary precautions so you can continue with your daily routine.

Myth 02The fact Window tint film can be easily scratched

Another widespread myth is that window tint film is fragile and prone to scratching from everyday use. Modern window tint film is manufactured with high-quality materials that include scratch-resistant coatings designed to withstand routine wear and tear. When installed correctly by our team of tinting professionals, you will find that the film remains durable through normal window operations, such as rolling the glass up and down. While intentional or sharp objects may still cause damage, everyday use will not significantly affect the integrity of your window tint.

Myth 03The fact All window tint film discolors over time

Cheap window tint film can quickly fade or turn purple over time, often within just a few years. In contrast, advancements in high-grade tinting technology have significantly improved durability and color stability. At Buff & Beyond, we only use premium-quality tint films engineered to maintain their clarity and rich color for years to come. With expert installation and proper care, your window tint will retain its sleek, consistent appearance throughout its lifespan.

Asked in the bay

Questions owners ask

Will window tint make it hard to see at night?

A quality ceramic film stays clear from the inside, so night driving on the lighter and medium shades feels normal. The darkest shades do cut visibility after dark, which is one reason we talk through how and where you drive before you choose.

How long before I can roll my windows down?

The film needs a few days to cure against the glass. We tell you how long to wait when you pick up the car, since it depends on the weather.

Why does new tint look hazy at first?

That is moisture from the install working its way out. It clears by itself as the film cures. If anything still looks off once it has cured, bring the car back and we will look at it.
