Dry ice blasting
- 01
How it works
The pellets turn to gas on contact. The grime comes off and nothing wet or abrasive is left behind.
- 02
Where it is used
Undercarriages, suspension parts and engine bays, where water and brushes do more harm than good.
- 03
Ocean Township only
The equipment lives at the Ocean Township shop. Cars from the Millstone side are welcome there.
Under the car, where water should not go.
Pick an area to see what gets cleaned.
Undercarriage
The car goes up on the lift and the underside is cleaned from front to back.
Wheel wells and brakes
The pellets reach behind the wheel, around the calipers and into the well.
Suspension
Arms, links and subframes come back to bare, clean parts.

Questions owners ask
Is dry ice blasting safe for my car?
The pellets are soft and turn to gas on contact, so the process is gentler than pressure washing or abrasive blasting. We look the car over first and stay away from anything that should not be blasted.
Does it leave water or a mess behind?
The dry ice evaporates and no water is used. What comes off the car is the grime itself, and we clean that up.
Who is dry ice blasting for?
Owners who want a clean underside: before a show or a sale, when buying or restoring an older car, or after years of winter roads.
